SPEI tracking
Singula checks with Banxico whether a SPEI transfer exists and settled. It returns who sent it and who received it, with the official receipt, for payments since 2012.
SPEI
Payment status
Banxico says whether the payment settled, is still in process, was returned or never existed.
Sender and beneficiary
A settled payment brings the name, RFC or CURP, account and bank of both parties.
Payments since 2012
Covers transfers since February 24, 2012, across the banks in Banxico’s catalog.
One call
The answer arrives in the same call. If Banxico is slow, the result stays ready to read later.
Singula looks the transfer up in Banxico and returns its status and both parties.
Banxico runs SPEI and issues the receipt of every settled payment. Singula queries the payment with the data on the receipt you were sent. The answer compares the amount and the account with what you entered. An invented receipt does not appear in Banxico.
Every check returns the payment’s status in Banxico
Banxico reports the status exactly as it has it on record. Singula groups it into four results.
Settled
The money reached the beneficiary’s account. Once the receipt is issued, both parties come with it.
In process
Banxico has the payment, but it has not been credited yet. Check again in a few minutes.
Returned, rejected or cancelled
The payment existed, but the money did not stay in the beneficiary’s account.
Not found
Banxico has no payment with that data. An invented receipt, or one with an altered amount or account, comes back this way.
The answer carries the status, both parties and the receipt
Every check returns the status in Banxico and, with a settled payment, the full official receipt.
Payment details
Operation date, time of the credit, tracking key, reference, amount, VAT and concept.
Sender
Name, RFC or CURP, account and bank of whoever sent the payment.
Beneficiary
Name, RFC or CURP, account and bank of whoever received the payment.
Matches
Amount and account against what you entered, and name or RFC against who you expected.
CEP receipt
Banxico’s electronic payment receipt, in XML and in PDF, for the file.
Checked account
Account type, check digit and bank, checked before the lookup.
How it works
You send the payment data
Date, tracking key or reference, sending bank, beneficiary account and amount, exactly as the receipt shows them.
The account is checked
The CLABE goes through its check digit and its bank. Invalid data is rejected at no charge.
Banxico is queried
Singula looks the payment up in Banxico with that data and brings the receipt when it exists.
The result comes back
Status, parties and matches arrive in the same call. Every check is stored with its date.
The CLABE validator checks an account before you pay or track.
It checks a CLABE’s check digit and bank instantly. It is free, in test and in production.
An 18-digit CLABE with its correct check digit.
Check digit
Catches a mistyped digit and returns the digit that belongs there.
The account’s bank
The first three digits name the bank, against Banxico’s catalog of participants.
Informative plaza
Returns the account’s plaza. It never invalidates a CLABE.
Card and phone
Also recognizes a 16-digit debit card and a 10-digit mobile phone.
The payment is confirmed in Banxico before you deliver.
Commerce and marketplaces
Release the order on a payment confirmed by Banxico, not on the customer’s screenshot.
Fintech and collections
Confirm the credit a customer reports before applying it or paying out.
Fraud prevention
Separate invented receipts and record which account and which bank the money went to.
SPEI tracking is not an identity verification.
It confirms a payment that already happened and who was credited. The decision on each order stays with you.

}Frequently asked questions
The payment date, the tracking key or the reference, the bank that sent it, the beneficiary account and the amount. They all come on the receipt. With a CLABE, the receiving bank comes from the account itself.
Banxico finds a payment only when the date, the key, the banks, the account and the amount match. An invented or altered receipt comes back as not found. A real receipt of another payment carries another beneficiary, and the answer flags it.
When the payment has settled and Banxico has issued its receipt. The receiving bank has a few minutes to confirm it; if it has not arrived yet, check again later.
It does not confirm an account holder without a payment in between. It does not track transfers inside the same bank, nor issue a receipt for a payment that did not settle. It moves no money and sends no alert when a payment arrives.
