Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") regulate access to and use of the platform and API of Singula (hereinafter "Singula" or "the Platform"). By accessing or using any of Singula's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the services.
2. Definitions
- "Platform": the Singula web dashboard, API, documentation, and any related tools or services.
- "User": any individual or legal entity that accesses or uses the services.
- "API Key": a unique credential provided to authenticate access to the Singula API.
- "Credits": consumption units used to perform queries and operations through the platform.
3. Registration and Account
To use Singula's services, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials, including your API Key and password.
- Be fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- Immediately notify Singula of any unauthorized access or security breach.
4. API Usage and Credits
- Access to the API requires a valid API Key.
- Queries consume credits according to the current pricing schedule available on the Platform.
- Unused credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Singula reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days prior notice.
- Usage limits (rate limits) apply and may vary by plan. Exceeding limits may result in temporary throttling.
5. Acceptable Use
The User agrees to:
- Use the API and Platform solely for legitimate and lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to access data belonging to other users.
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform or API.
- Not exceed the established usage limits or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws.
- Not use the services for any discriminatory or illegal profiling purposes.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, source code, designs, documentation, and other materials associated with the Singula Platform are the exclusive property of Singula or its licensors. The User does not acquire any intellectual property rights over the Platform by virtue of using the services. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any part of the Platform without prior written consent is prohibited.
7. Service Availability
Singula strives to maintain high service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Singula shall not be liable for interruptions caused by:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance.
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, government actions, etc.).
- Third-party service failures, including government data sources or cloud infrastructure providers.
- Causes beyond Singula's reasonable control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Singula shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the services.
- Singula's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by the User in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.
- Singula does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data obtained from external government sources. Results are provided "as-is" from the originating authority.
9. Privacy
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By using the services, you acknowledge having read and accepted said Privacy Notice.
10. Modifications
Singula may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified at least 15 days in advance through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the services after the effective date of modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
- Either party may terminate the relationship at any time.
- Singula may suspend or cancel accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious breach.
- Upon termination, API access will cease immediately.
- Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive termination.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile.
